The Clerk/Comptroller is responsible for processing payroll for all full-time, part-time and temporary county employees.

In June 2010, there were 2,027 full-time and 152 part-time staff (61 without benefits) and 124 temporary staff.

Automated payroll records are kept permanently, and salaries of all county employees are public record.
