Payroll Division

The Clerk/Comptroller is responsible for processing payroll for all full-time, part-time and temporary county employees.

In March 2010, there were 2,042 full-time and 150 part-time staff (65 without benefits) and 85 temporary staff.

Automated payroll records are kept permanently, and salaries of all county employees are public record.

If you are a Douglas County employee and have questions about payroll checks, please call 444-6758.

If you are not a Douglas County employee and have questions about a garnishment on your check, please call the Douglas County Court at 444-5424 or your current place of employment.
